Embley’s A Level class of 2026 is celebrating another year of fantastic academic and personal achievements with 65% of all A Level grades awarded at A*-B, the top grades needed to get into the most prestigious universities, and 88% achieving A*-C. These results reflect the ambition and hard work of our students and expertise and encouragement of our staff.
Subject highlights include 100% of grades awarded at A*-B for Further Mathematics, Art & Design, 3D Design and Photography. Economics saw 75% of grades awarded at A*-B while 72% of Mathematics grades were awarded at this highest level. There was also an increase in the number of A*s in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Drama and Photography compared with last year.
Embley students are moving on to a wide range of exciting opportunities, from first choice university destinations, such as Layla (A*AA), who will read Maths with Management & Finance at King’s College London, to degree apprenticeships. Others, including Lydia (A*A*B) and Annabelle (A*A*B), have chosen to take time to explore their options before taking the next step.
